"BloorMill Veterinary Hospital is seeking a veterinary receptionist/assistant to join our growing small animal practice in a quiet neighborhood in Etobicoke. Our practice is client-focused and we strive to provide both compassion and excellence service for clients and patients. We are looking for someone who is energetic, cheerful and has excellent interpersonal skills, customer service and the love to work with both animals and the general public. Skills required include but not limited to duties such as reception customer service, booking appointments, assisting with animal examination, client education. Experience is an asset however individuals with eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply. Approximately 35 hrs work per week. We have a very friendly supportive working environment. We offer excellent staff benefits including medical/dental, uniform and veterinary service discount." **Salary**: From $16.50 per hour Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Profit sharing - Store discount - Vision care Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability COVID-19 considerations: Staff and clients are required to wear masks. **Experience**: - Veterinary Assistant: 1 year (preferred) - Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred) - Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
