JOB SUMMARY
As our **Facilities Coordinator**, your exceptional hands-on skills, organizational capabilities, flexibility, and experience in engineering environments will let you _roll up your sleeves_ and take responsibility to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services and support for the Waterloo office.

This is a full-time and onsite position for our Waterloo Office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Facilities Tasks**
▪ Engaging in hands-on maintenance and repair tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations, coordinating appropriate resources and resolving issues in a timely manner. Availability on call for emergencies.
▪ Ensure replenishment of inventory of office supplies, marketing materials, staff common areas and related purchases, this includes order pickup.
▪ Ensure success of staff events, company meetings, and client visits by ordering and picking up food, coordinating the setup and take-down of meeting spaces, etc.
▪ Assist with tasks and process in the areas of receiving, shipping, purchasing and general office services.
▪ Work with the Health and Safety committee (JHSC) to ensure a clean and safe office environment is maintained.
▪ Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, cleanliness of the office, identify safety hazards, and potential improvements.
**IT Support**
▪ Monitor and maintain inventory levels of IT supplies (like cables, keyboard/mouse, etc.).
**Vendor Coordination**
▪ Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to obtain quotes, schedule repairs, and ensure work is completed to high standards.
▪ Sourcing of new external suppliers for products & services that may be required for the office.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
▪ 3+ years of experience in a coordination or maintenance role.
▪ Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport
- building.
▪ Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift priorities on an ad hoc basis, and occasional flexibility with working hours.
▪ Experienced problem solver.
▪ Trade qualification and/or technical diploma, (or equivalent facility experience and knowledge)
▪ Valid driver’s license and own automobile
