**Overview**
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant manager to help lead our Freshslice Pizza team. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, support staff and ensure excellent guest service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about food and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Supervise, train and motivate staff to meet performance and customer service standards.
- Handle opening and/or closing duties, including cash handling, reporting and inventory checks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Support scheduling and shift management to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and in-store promotions.
- Step into Manager's role when required.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food service or retail is an asset.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Willingness to take FOODSAFE Level 1 prior to employment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.35-$20.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
