**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient store functioning
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience
- Drive sales by implementing effective sales strategies and motivating the sales team and artists
- Maintain store appearance and merchandise presentation to company standards
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including receiving, restocking, and organizing merchandise
- Contribute to the development and execution of marketing initiatives to drive store traffic and increase sales, high sale incentives available
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising store staff
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate to develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Assist in budgeting and financial management activities

**Skills**:

- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally
- Experience in sales management, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and coaching team members
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management principles
- Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional negotiation skills for vendor contracts and pricing agreements
- Previous experience in store management or assistant management roles preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is an asset for effective communication with diverse customers
- Knowledge of local market trends and competition

**Salary**: From $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vancouver, BC V6J 3J7: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- MacOS: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Spanish (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
