**We are excited to be recruiting for Day Shift - Line Cooks at SMITH Restaurant, within our amazing property, Inn at the Forks.**
We are seeking skilled Line Cooks to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the kitchen is organized and running efficiently.
Inn at the Forks is a sleek and stylish hotel set in The Forks historic site with guest rooms that feature a modern design, and some suites have waterfront views. SMITH is a contemporary restaurant featuring locally sourced ingredients, and Riverstone Spa is a full-service spa, both located within the hotel.
**Duties**:
1. Maintain a high-quality product in a very fast-paced line cooking environment.
2. Preparation of produce and protein.
3. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and food storage areas.
4. Proper rotation and storage of food and cleaning supplies
5. Open to learning new techniques and ideas. Also bring creativity to the kitchen.
**What you bring to the table**:
1. At least 3 years of direct culinary experience in a fast-paced environment
2. A positive and hardworking attitude
3. Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
4. The ability to stay focused in a high volume, fast paced industry and ensure accuracy and procedures are followed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.25 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week
