**Security Technician (Full-Time)**
**Location**: Abbotsford, BC (Fraser Valley + province-wide travel)
**Reports To**: Owner
**Start Date**: Early September 2025

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead end-to-end installation & commissioning of security systems, networking, A/V, and access-control solutions
- Troubleshoot field issues: wiring faults, device configuration errors, network uplink problems
- Read and interpret technical drawings; install cable pulls, raceways, and terminations
- Coordinate on-site with general contractors, electricians, and other trades
- Maintain accurate project documentation, materials tracking, and timesheet reporting

**Required Qualifications**
- 2+ years of hands-on low-voltage field experience (security, networking, A/V)
- Proficient in security system programming, network configuration, and A/V setup
- Clean BC driver’s license; willingness to travel across BC
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills

**Nice-to-Have**
- Experience with Paradox Security Systems, Lutron Lighting Systems, URC Total Control or Control4
- Security Technician Qualification (TQ) or equivalent
- CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar networking certification
- Boom-lift and scissor-lift training/certification

Company vehicle and Company work phone provided

Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, and be able to pass a criminal record check

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-09-01
