**Your Mission**
Your mission as the Quality Control Inspector is to ensure that products being manufactured meet the set quality standards defined on the check sheets and within the production drawings. This will be done by comparing the finished product to master samples and measuring the product using tape measures, Vernier callipers and other quality-based inspection methods utilizing fixtures, gauges and tables.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for daily product checks on the floor.
- Review Quality Alerts.
- Promote and advocate quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
- Review Production and Quality daily reports.
- Ensure good product being produced within specification.
- Inform Operators, Supervisors and other team members about quality issues.
- Ensure products with quality issues are properly labelled and quarantined.
- Check for quality issues - for example missing ribs, wavy edges, round corners and report issues immediately.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Quality practices such as measurement with a tape measure and vernier caliper.
- Must possess excellent communication skills for communicating internal departments.
- Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Extremely a detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
- Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to review technical documentation, including project plans, test procedures, and design documents.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

**Working Conditions**
- Quality Control Inspectors will be focused on the production floor and will spend most of their time standing and reviewing products as they are produced.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- 12 hour, continental shift schedule.
- Dayshift: 6 am - 6 pm
- Nightshift: 6 pm - 6 am
