**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
**Role**:
We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to join our Quality Control team. We are looking for someone with strong metrology skills and detail oriented. This role will report directly to quality control supervisor.

This is a 6 month contract position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform incoming quality control on purchase components (plastic and metal materials).
- Collaborate with the lab manager to complete daily activities involving quality as receiving and in-process control.
- Standardized measurement inspection throughout the organization.
- Help the team to solve internal failure analysis and control nonconformance materials.
- Assist the quality team in performing MSA (measurement system analysis).
- Perform capability analysis on critical components.
- Ensures all jobs are completed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
- Maintain testing equipment in good condition and calibration of test equipment.
- Report any non-conformance concerns to the management.
- Must possess good knowledge of quality standards and working knowledge of ISO certification requirements.
- Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams.

**WHO YOU ARE**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Graduate of a Mechanical Technician/Technologist Program or an Electronic Technician/Technologist Program
- 1+ years of experience
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Metrology training
- Knowledge about specific measurement equipment: OMM, CMM, CT scan.
- Experience with Quality Core Tools
- ISO 9001 certification would be an asset.

**Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy.
