**Accounts Payable Technician**

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Technician to join our dynamic team located in the West Island.

We are looking for someone who is rigorous, meticulous and analytical. If you are a quick learner and have relevant accounts payable experience, you may be the right person for this position

Reporting directly to the Controller, the primary responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Technician are to:

- Verify credit card activity against prepayments/monthly charges, record payments.
- Post miscellaneous invoices (invoices without purchase orders) and reply to supplier queries as needed.
- Issue prepayments at the request of account managers.
- Maintain vendor information.
- Verify and record employee expense reports.
- Prepare weekly payments (ACH, wire transfer, checks).
- Verify aging of accounts payable to validate outstanding payments/credits.

**Prerequisites**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Experience in a Multi-company, multi-currency environment.
- General Accounting Knowledge.
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word.
- Bilingual (French/English, spoken and written).
- Core competencies include: Excellent organizational skills, initiative, strong attention to detail and works well in an entrepreneurial environment.
