**Job Summary**
As a Lift Lead, you are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of lift stations and ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of all passengers. You will lead and support Lift Operators, assist with training and scheduling, and uphold safety standards and guest service expectations. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Your efforts help create a reliable and positive mountain experience—reflecting our core value: to **create an inclusive experience united by adventure, empowered by community**.

- ** Reports To**: Lift Operations Supervisor
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead and support Lift Operators in daily setup, operation, and tear down of lifts
- Monitor and maintain consistent procedures across all lift stations
- Plan and coordinate breaks for team members throughout the day
- Identify and report any lift-related mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Adhere to all procedures outlined in the resort’s Operational Manual and CSA Z98 Code
- Assist with scheduling Lift Operators, Parking Attendants, and Tube Park Attendants under the direction of the Lift Operations Supervisor
- Operate lifts and other company equipment safely and according to policy
- Maintain accurate operational records and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards
- Ensure all work areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained
- Uphold resort communication standards, including professional radio usage
- Assist in emergency situations and support Ski Patrol as needed
- Help train new Lift Operators both pre-season and mid-season
- Lead by example in practicing safe work procedures and professional guest service
- Support cross-department operations when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
**Job Requirements**
- Prior lift operations experience is **required**:
- Proven leadership ability with strong organizational and communication skills
- Effective decision-making and situational awareness under pressure
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general scheduling tools
- Intermediate to advanced skier or snowboarder preferred
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, shoveling snow, and working outdoors in all weather
- Comfortable working weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
- Able to manage high guest volumes while maintaining safety and service standards
- Adaptable, team-oriented, and collaborative across departments
- Committed to a positive, inclusive, and community-minded workplace
- Willing to contribute to snow removal and cross-departmental needs as required
