We currently have an opening for **Lead** **Maintenance / Groundskeeper **at our Parkland Village in Spruce Grove, Alberta. Reporting to the Property Manager, the Maintenance Lead will oversee and initiate maintenance and general repairs for the entire property and fulfill the company's responsibilities to its residents.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Customer Relations_
- Ensuring ongoing communication with Property Manager and informing the manager of any and all pertinent activities within the property
- Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Personnel Management_
- Scheduling and managing staff and contractors for daily activities
- Ensure all staff members understand standards and comply with company policies and procedures
- Property Operations_
- Promote an environment focused on customer experience
- Be a positive role model for staff and lead by example
- Facilitate and coordinate all maintenance, general repairs and usage of equipment. This includes maintenance and management of the sewer, water and electrical systems
- Assist in snow removal from roads and driveways and grass cutting throughout all common areas of the resort along with other maintenance tasks as requested by the Property Manager.
- Health and Safety_
- Ensure all property activities are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Ensure that all property facilities are maintained in safe condition
- Immediately notify management when operations are unsafe and/or beyond normal repair
- Ensure all employees are trained on the property safety procedures and are proficient in the use of its safety equipment
- Take on role of Health & Safety Captain

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver’s Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
- Must have valid driver’s license
- On call availability for sewer, water and park emergencies
