**We are looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team.** Fastening House specializes in providing electrical, mechanical, and general contractors with the products, tools, construction supplies and equipment they need - when they need it. **Job Summary**

A **Shipping Coordinator** has a critical part of the customer solution model. This role will be the one to ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. You will oversee the value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. The goal is to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly. **Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Work with shipping and delivery staff.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Fill in for absent staff, or as demand increases.
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization of shipping/warehouse area.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Work in synergy with inventory manager, receiving, and sales to ensure an accurate and efficient warehouse.
- Utilize delivery system modules and insure the completion of all driver paperwork.
- Sign off on ALL FH delivery vehicles product prior to departure from the warehouse.
- Communicate with inside/outside sales on a regular basis to ensure service commitments are being met.
- Oversee and signing off on all Large PO’s which come in on FH flatbeds or Supplier delivery.
- Manage fleet & logistics information accordingly with in the warehouse.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Notify manager of problems that are not resolvable.
- Resolve all other issues at the warehouse level.
- Accurately perform cycle counts as required.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years related experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse, logistics and inventory best principles and practices.
- Valid G License
- Working knowledge of AS400, an asset, not required

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

- G License (preferred)
