We are seeking an _experienced_ **Site Supervisor** with a background in **emergency mitigation,** such as lead water technician experience, to join our **First Onsite** team.

Our Site Supervisors play a key role in ensuring smooth operations on all construction projects, particularly those involving restoration and emergency response.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SITE SUPERVISOR**

**Each day as the Site Supervisor you will coordinate construction activities, resources, emergency mitigation equipment, and information to ensure all construction/commercial project staff and project processes run efficiently.**

**Reporting to the Construction Operations Manager, the Site Supervisor will optimize staff productivity and ensure projects are completed to First Onsite's high standards. This role focuses on meeting and exceeding the goals of the Construction Department and First Onsite as a whole.**

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years experience with **proven track record** in emergency mitigation/disaster restoration
- High level of Canadian and Restoration process knowledge
- Project scheduling knowledge
- Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages
- Knowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes.
- Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Computer skills required - Word, Excel, and Outlook. **Xactimate Knowledge Essential.**:

- Invoicing, billing and general math skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence
- Work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
