We’re looking for a supervisor to grow our vision of using cleaning as a vehicle for leadership development; to play a key role in redefining the cleaning industry.

**Who you are**

You love working in tight knit teams. You have experience managing people as a supervisor (in a cleaning or hospitality environment considered a bonus) and are excited to help people learn and grow under your watchful guidance.

Being the great multi-tasker and incredibly organized person that you are, you’re able to manage a team of cleaners and trainees to ensure quality standards are consistently met. You’re naturally detail-oriented and have a love for critical thinking and problem solving, to see something you believe in grow. You’re a proven leader, display integrity consistently, dependable and safety oriented.

You’re comfortable working on a lean team with a lot of autonomy, and you’re willing to do what it takes to get the job done well. You’re resourceful, hardworking, and committed to making a meaningful impact.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage hiring and training cycle for new staff as the company grows.
- Develop, supervise, and support existing team.
- Work closely with your fellow leadership team to address complaints, identify areas for improvement, and implement new processes.
- Stock, inspect and maintain supply locker and cleaning equipment; order supplies according to a budget.
- Adhere to established cleaning standards and procedures for workers and ensure adherence to these standards and procedures
- Conduct comprehensive inspections to check the completion of work assignments.
- Maintain employee records and submit reports concerning personnel, equipment, supplies, expense, and general cleaning activities.
- Advise or take necessary action to correct any mechanical, structural, or electrical condition in need of repair or replacement.
- Lead major cleaning jobs and seek to appoint leadership duties to cleaners as you see fit.

**Qualifications**
- Previous supervisory experience, (cleaning or hospitality role a bonus)
- Understands the principles behind providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage a team of laborers with respect and dignity.
- Strong ability to manage time effectively without supervision.
- Shows basic budgeting skills and the ability to keep cleaning supplies and equipment stocked according to a budget.
- Exhibits the ability to hold others accountable in a supportive and challenging way.
- Can perform several tasks at the same time.
- Shows basic computer knowledge for record and training purposes (most initial interviewing, training and meetings are currently being held online, indefinitely).
- Has a good understanding of WHMIS and Health & Safety procedures.
- Excellent decision-making and judgement skills is a must.
