**Position Description**:
The department of Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a dynamic individual, MRT who is interested in an exciting opportunity to develop their skills in paediatric Xray and CT imaging.

You will perform a variety of Xray and CT procedures, produce quality medical images for diagnostic purposes while ensuring the safety of patients, their family members and staff. Responsibilities will include operating all equipment as well as maintaining accurate computer and image records while working efficiently in a fast paced environment. As a member of an inter-professional team, you will participate in continual quality improvement initiatives and help support workload in CT as well as General X-ray. You will need strong communication skills to ensure you are able to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environment. You will also be required to assist in the training and orientation of new staff and participate in teaching student technologists.

This position includes working different shifts: days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Flexible scheuduling is offered with area specific guidelines.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Successful completion of an accredited program in Medical Radiation Technology (B.Sc. or diploma program)
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must have sound knowledge/education in cross sectional anatomy.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team environment
- Attention to detail is critical
- Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work with children
- Proficiency with computers
