**Position description**:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Technical Administrator will assist the Engineering team with administrative and technical tasks. The role includes both internal (other SHift departments) and external (customer and supplier facing) tasks. Main tasks will involve the administration and management of engineering projects and information, and the communication of deliverables to the required departments/parties.

**Job R**esponsibilities**:

- Provide technical assistance to engineers and technicians.
- Assist in answering inter-department and customer enquiries.
- Support drawing and document management systems.
- Assist in tracking and management of engineering project deliverables.
- Assist with management of the laboratory equipment and testing materials/components.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up actions as required.
- Perform research at a supervisor's request.
- May assist with other department projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties and tasks as required.

**Requirements**:

- Engineering or Technical education, Bachelor degree or higher qualification preferred.
- General aptitude for computer systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Good work-ethic, able to meet deadlines.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill, able to communicate engineering requirements.
- Accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness.
- Ability to provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.

**Job demands and/or physical requirements**:

- Full-time position.
- Working office address: Suite 606, 1200 W 73rd Ave, Vancouver, BC V6P 6G5.
- 40 hours per week.
- Salary range - TBA.
- Working from home part of the time is possible.
