Who We're Looking For:
What You'll Get To Do:
Managing the implementation of current and new IT infrastructure and network, such as but not limited to routers, switches, access points, etc.
Manage and document security risks, processes, and tools
Train staff on the technical knowledge associated with our program
Interpret technical questions from our clients and work with our team on client integrations
Manage Office 365, Exchange and SharePoint
Lead Disaster Recovery planning and execution
Firewall management and troubleshooting including DNS and NAT
FTP and VPN authentication methods
Digital tracking (cookie and pixel tracking) within technical systems
HTML/HTTP web technologies
Deploy and manage Remote Monitoring & Management platform & Cloud Endpoint Security platforms such as Atera, Webroot EP,& Datto SaaS protection/Backupify.
Perform quarterly Web Penetration Testing using Acunetix to check for security vulnerabilities.
Perform quarterly AWS Trusted Advisor checks to optimize our AWS infrastructure, improve security and performance, reduce overall costs, and monitor service limits.
Manage AWS Transfer for SFTP on Amazon S3 to receive batch files from our clients.
What We’re Looking For:
3 to 5 years applicable industry experience
Experience managing the implementation of current and new IT infrastructure and network, such as but not limited to routers, switches, access points, etc.
You are able to communicate clearly and concisely in both technical and user-friendly language
Solid knowledge of web protocols and how they are implemented (with a focus on data security)
Knowledge and understanding of HTML/HTTP web technologies
Experience with Office 365 - Azure Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint
Understanding of relational Databases functionalities
Firewall management and troubleshooting skills including DNS and NAT
Experience with FTP and VPN authentication methods
A BSc/BA in Computer Science, IT or relevant field
Not required but considered an asset:
Experience with digital tracking (cookie and pixel tracking) and technical systems
Experience with S3, Cognito, API Gateway and Lambda
Experience with Cloud services (AWS is preferred): S3 Management, SFTP, Athena logs
Database experience - SQL, NoSQL
Experience monitoring AWS Inspector, AWS Trusted Advisor, AWS Artifact, Acunetix
- for Penetration Testing
**Salary**: $90,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- system administration: 1 year (preferred)
