**Overview**

Roles and Responsibilities:
Staff management: hire, train, evaluate and scheduling

Budgeting/Book-keeping: managing the clinic budget, ordering supplies, payroll and book-keeping

Billing: Alberta Health claims submissions and reconciliation

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring the clinic is compliant with all healthcare laws and regulations

Policy development: Develop and maintain clinical policies

Strategic planning for the future

Communication: with healthcare providers, public, staff and patients

Patient Care: Ensure high quality patient care and services

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a managerial role within a medical or dental office setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems; experience Healthquest is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Experience in budgeting and financial management within a healthcare environment.
- Ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of acute care practices is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Healthquest, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office 365 is an asset.

Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
