The Accounting Analyst Technician participates in the accuracy of the balance sheet by performing a multitude of tasks related to account analyses.

**Principal responsibilities**:

- Ensure bank reconciliations are produced on time and balance with the financial statements;
- Perform the revaluation of bank balance sheet items;
- Ensure that the fixed assets schedules are in line with the financial statements;
- Validate all transactions of the different balance sheet items for provisions. Ensure that transactions are recorded in the correct currencies and at the correct exchange rate;
- Validate all transactions of the different balance sheet items for prepaid amounts. Ensure that transactions are recorded in the correct currencies and at the correct exchange rates;
- Validate inter-company chargebacks for SG&A expenses;
- Ensure proper period demarcation for receipts;
- Ensure that adjustments and corrections to receipts are properly recorded in the books;
- Perform analysis and accounting entries for the processing of Pass through inventory purchases (Bulk matrix, Reageant, etc...);
- Validate and reconcile transactions in the company of volunteers;
- Participate in the physical count of money at the clinic on a cyclical basis;
- Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller with various projects and tasks as required;
- Other related requests.

**Desired profile**:

- 2-3 years experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP (an asset);
- Good knowledge of the accounting cycle;
- Good organizational skills, priority management and respect of deadlines;
- Positive attitude, oriented towards continuous improvement;
- Mastery of Excel software;
- Good communication skills in French and English (written and oral);
- Natural propensity for teamwork;
- Methodical and meticulous.
