**The Winery Retail Assistant Manager**, is to assist the Winery Retail Manager in the execution of retail and winery hospitality including our retail patio and special events. Leading teams to achieve goals and objectives by delivering retail sales and winery experiences that build brand loyalty while driving sustainable profitability. The Assistant Winery Retail Manager will ensure programs and initiatives are aligned with winery brand strategy. Key responsibilities include leveraging the retail store experience, tasting bar and patio to drive retail sales and achieve or exceed required results, building Wine club and other membership sales and provide excellent customer service. Identify and recommend margin enhancing opportunities through retail experiences and restaurant offerings. Ensure best in class hospitality experiences at the Winery and Restaurant, known as a world class tourism destination. Support the training and coaching of winery associates to ensure winery sales and wine club goals are achieved. Daily, Weekly communications with team members as well as management on new initiatives.

Ability to work well within a team environment

Detail oriented and ability to efficiently multitask

Must be able to work weekends

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Wine industry experience is an asset

Second language is an asset

Must be able to lift 20kg

Our Retail Store Hours: Monday - Sunday 10am - 5pm (Winter) Monday - Sunday 10am - 6pm (Summer)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $37,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
