**THE ROLE**
As a Function and Event Supervisor, you provide an excellent customer experience in our military messes. During big events to every day moments, you will build a rapport with the military community and get to experience various military traditions.

The Function and Event Supervisor will provide a variety of services such as assisting in the set-up and take down of social and military functions, supervising staff and events. You will liaise with other departments to ensure proper timings and details for the scheduled events.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in BC

Must possess a Serving It Right BC certificate

**Experience**

In organizing banquets and functions

In bar operations

In personnel administration

In safe food handling practices and procedures

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential / Bilingual an asset
