Mortgage Fulfillment Specialist

Mortgages.ca is a top mortgage brokerage based in downtown Toronto. We are currently on the hunt for a disciplined and experienced fulfillment specialist.

Who are we looking for:

- Post-secondary education
- 2+ years experience in residential mortgage underwriting / fulfillment (an asset)
- Experience with D+H Filogix or Velocity
- Experience working with underwriting and document fulfillment guidelines
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines and in a very fast paced environment
- Excellent, professional oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize, follow up and multi-task
- Flexible and resourceful at problem-solving
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong initiative and go-getter attitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Has previous experience with lending (an asset)
- Previous experience working in the broker channel (an asset)
- Active FSCO license (an asset)
- Problem solver
- Fast learner
- Open to constructive criticism

Job Responsibilities:

- Collect, evaluate and analyze documentation supplied by clients.
- Contact the clients for additional information or clarification to facilitate effective and timely approvals on deals.
- Order appraisals & appraisal review
- Document deals to support obtaining approvals, and fulfilling conditions.
- Ensure all information is entered accurately into the Filogix system.
- Respond to questions or concerns from clients in a timely and courteous manner to ensure timely and accurate completion of each mortgage transaction
- Handle and resolve escalated issues and offer solutions in order to maintain excellence in client satisfaction.
- Keep current with all relevant legislation/policies
- Prepare accurate and timely disclosure and compliance documents related to each deal

**Salary**: Based on experience. Flexible structures of pay.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
