About the Role

As the Fulfillment Specialist, you will be accountable for effectively and efficiently reviewing mortgage documentation prior to funding of residential mortgage deals. You will be liaising with our Finance, Underwriting, Fulfillment and Operations teams to ensure there are no discrepancies in the documentation prior to submission. You will work in a fun, fast-paced professional environment where being detail-oriented with solid time management skills is critical. You will review mortgage applications, verify that file data is complete, conditions are fulfilled, and meet targets while adhering to service standards and providing outstanding personalized service.

What you will be responsible for…

  • Coordinating with mortgage advisors to obtain documentation needed to complete the requirements as stipulated on the mortgage commitment.
  • Reviewing mortgage documentation and verify that the loan underwriting system accurately reflects the data supported by the documents.
  • Reviewing information presented and addressing any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Confirming appropriate due diligence has been completed on all documents.
  • Verifying data to ensure it meets company underwriting guidelines.
  • Coordinating with Closing to ensure that we are prepared to close deals by monitoring deals in the fulfillment stage to ensure that we have collected all the outstanding conditions in a timely manner.

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree in Business or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail oriented nature.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and different parties.
  • Comfortability dealing with time pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Ownership mentality, self-starting nature and passion for your work.
