The **Business Development Centre (BDC) Representative** is a professional, customer-orientated and organized individual responsible for handling calls related to the Service Department. The main responsibilities include managing high call volumes, scheduling appointments, tracking leads, updating databases, following retention activities and taking ownership to resolve issues. Reporting directly to the General Sales Manager and Customer Development Centre Manager, the CDC Representative works with all areas of the business to ensure exceptional customer service quality.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Have strong customer service skills
- Strong tracking skills
- Updating Data base
- Follow retention guidelines for finance and lease customers
- Strong customer retention skills
- Coordinate and assign internet leads in a timely manner
- Receive overflow sales call and assign to appropriate person
- Ensure all leads and sales calls are entered into PBS
- Follow up on all walk in customers (to monitor that the salesperson has provided the customer with the information they require)
- Follow up on all unsold traffic to generate business
- Assist in leasing (sending out mails at the proper intervals and booking appointments for customers before the lease maturity date
- Create Master Traffic Log (update daily for appointments, internet leads, sales calls)
- Mass call outs on promos and incentive programs when required.

**Technical Skills & Requirements**
- Minimum 1-2 years customer service experience and familiarity working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Automotive knowledge and post-secondary training are an asset
- Second language is an asset
**Logistical Requirements**
This is a full-time position 9:30-6 PM available at Dueck Richmond. On occasions employees may be required working extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.
