- Position Summary:

- Reporting to the Receiving Supervisor the Customer Will Call is responsible for selecting Gordon Food Service (GFS) products for customer pick up from the warehouse.
- Schedule:

- Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM._

- Business Acumen: Understands and applies business knowledge- Essential Functions:
- Selects GFS products for customer orders placed at the warehouse.-
- Verifies the accuracy of orders and ensures that customer has invoice upon product pickup.-
- Ensures that customers are treated with respect and kindness.-
- Ensures integrity of catch weights.-
- Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.-
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Must be able to communicate clearly in a professional manner.-
- Must have good customer service skills and be able to read, communicate and follow directions-
- in English.-
- Must be able to perform manual labor and understand correct method to organize and stack products.-
- Must have good knowledge of GFS products and services.-
- Must wear GFS uniform and have neat appearance at all times.-
- Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.- We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
