The Property Manager role is an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, motivated aspiring leader with operations management experience, preferably in a relevant sector such as residential/commercial property management.
This position requires a dedicated individual that is willing to work hard, is passionate to deliver superior customer service and has proven problem solving and forward thinking skills. This is an integral role in implementing the company’s vision for the industry and providing all clients with excellent services and management expertise.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coordinate notices and owner/resident correspondence
- Preparation of annual budgets for portfolio of properties
- Monitor onsite personnel
- Implement/monitor preventative maintenance schedules
- Meet with vendors onsite to obtain quotes where required
- Coordinate/assist/attend AGM, board meetings and special meetings
- Prepare management reports
- Coordinate/assist with reserve fund studies and performance audits
- Respond to owner & resident inquiries
- Perform periodic property inspections of the properties, coordinate deficiency repairs and provide status updates with respect to projects in progress
- Match invoices to approved purchase orders and code accordingly
- Keep on top of deadlines/commitments and pro-actively follow-up
- Work with Property Administrator to coordinate and communicate effectively
**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:
- Previous experience in property or similar management experience considered an asset. (minimum five years management experience required)
- Experience developing and maintaining long term customer relations
- Experience in problem solving, working under pressure, and willing to work hard.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- IT literate and skilled with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
Note, this type of role requires flexibility in work schedules, night meetings, and the willingness/ability to work overtime as required.
**Education & Experience**
- College or university diploma/degree (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and vehicle (required)
- Property Manager: minimum of 3 years (required)
Licence:
- CMRAO - General License (required)
