Job description

Supporting BC Film Production and the many special events run in the city, we are looking for multiple individuals to join our team who can help us grow our business. Working with others you would be:

- setting up and taking down tents,
- loading and unloading trucks
- help maintain the tents and equipment.

Generally people who have the following attributes are most successful in this position but anyone who is willing to work hard will do well:

- you must be punctual and reliable.
- benefit to being on the taller side
- able to lift 50 to 75 lbs
- A drivers licence to drive our company trucks and trailers is required. Drivers start at $23.00/hr and move up from there.
- You should have some flexibility as shifts from time to time will extend into overtime. If you want to work we have the hours for you.
- You must be able to get along with others and take direction to learn quickly.
- experience as a general labourer, production labourer, warehouse labourer, or warehouse worker is a plus.
- additional experience from an event production will also be considered.

Incentives for shift differentials, bonuses and an annual reimbursement for safety equipment are paid. There are lots of hours available for those that are wanting to work and looking for them.

Expected hours: 30 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (preferred)
