Industrial Fan Assembler

The Industrial Fan Assembler, working under direct supervision, is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting industrial fans. Responsibilities include communicating with the assembly team to identify and resolve assembly and quality issues.

**Performance Expectations**
- Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finish products using hand and power tools.
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, and wires.
- Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques.
- Operate pallet trucks to pick parts for assemblies. (Forklift licence is an asset)
- Perform quality checks as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designate.

**Credentials**
- Have a minimum of Grade 12 education.
- 1-3 year of assembly work experience.
- Electric motor knowledge is an asset.
- Must be able to read and understand work orders and assembly drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems with subassemblies and finished products.
- Ability to take measurements, to perform such tasks as cutting wire to specific lengths or drilling holes in the correct location. Measure parts, compare to specifications and adjust the fit.
- Ability to interact with their supervisor to receive work assignments and to troubleshoot assembly and quality problems.
- Capable to clearly communicate and to collaborate productively with co-workers.
- Ability to work independently and/or work with a partner to complete large or complex jobs as required.
- Possess drive and motivation to continuously learn and maintain a current knowledge of equipment technology, and work safety.
