We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team. As a **Technical Support **person, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues across various systems and equipment. Your expertise and team skills will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's technological infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide expert technical support and assistance to resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions in equipment, ensuring mínimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to validate the functionality and reliability of systems.
- Share your knowledge and expertise to enhance the overall skill set of the team.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, recommending and implementing best practices to optimize performance and security.
- Document technical processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to create a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Assist in the procurement and installation of new hardware and software systems as required.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Earn and Maintain certifications to support and expand Aslan Computer Systems partnerships and offerings.
- Maintain productive and respectful communication and relationships with clients and end users
- Willing and able to support clients both remotely and in-person. Having your own vehicle is a necessity.

Must-Haves:
Technical skills:

- 2+ years as a technical role, where you've demonstrated the skills to fulfill the responsibilities of this role
- hardware, software, and network systems experience including but not limited to
- Microsoft Server / Active Directory environments
- Microsoft 365 environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Operating and maintaining a wide range of technical equipment and tools.

Soft skills:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support junior technicians.

Nice-to-Haves:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
- WatchGuard Firewall experience / certification
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Project management skills to coordinate and execute technical projects.
- Experience with ConnectWise Manage and Datto RMM.
