**Job Overview**
Trevello is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Partnership Manager to lead our supplier relations and partnership initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will manage and strengthen relationships with key supplier partners, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators. Acting as a bridge between Head office and supplier partners, you will ensure seamless collaboration, resolve escalated customer issues, and negotiate competitive agreements that enhance the value we deliver to our advisors.
This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a passion for the travel industry, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build lasting partnerships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with supplier partners to foster trust and mutual success.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Trevello and suppliers, ensuring open communication and timely issue resolution.
- Negotiate competitive commission rates, overrides, marketing agreements, and other supplier-related contracts.
- Ensure all agreements align with company goals and maximize value for travel advisors and their clients.
- Provide feedback to suppliers to ensure alignment with Trevello’s objectives.
- Partner with suppliers on co-op marketing initiatives, promotional campaigns, and training opportunities for travel advisors.
- Act as an escalation point for travel advisors to address customer issues involving suppliers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable resolutions for disputes, disruptions, or complaints.
- Track recurring issues to identify trends and partner with suppliers on long-term solutions.
- Analyze booking trends to evaluate supplier performance against revenue goals and customer service standards.
- Work closely with internal teams to promote supplier programs through webinars, events, and other channels.
- Coordinate supplier participation in company-hosted events such as conferences and training sessions.
- Represent Trevello at industry trade shows and events to strengthen supplier relationships and identify new opportunities.
- Ensure travel advisors have access to up-to-date supplier information, policies, tools, and resources.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in supplier relations, account management, or a similar role within the travel industry.
- Proven success in resolving escalated customer issues through supplier collaboration.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable agreements that drive business growth.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on conflict resolution under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth understanding of the travel industry landscape, including supplier programs, booking platforms, and customer service standards.
- Willingness to travel for supplier meetings, trade shows, or company events as needed.

**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Supplier relations or Account Mgmt in the travel industry: 5 years (required)
