The emphasis in this role is supporting Quality Assurance/Compliance and Operations. While there is lots of variety in this role, there are also chunks of the day that will be spent on repetitive tasks. Once familiar with the role, we would look to you to assist with identifying efficiencies and opportunities for process improvement.

**Quality Assurance & Operations Assistant**

At Buchanan Global Ingredients, we are looking for an exceptionally organized individual who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of primarily QA and Operations.

Reporting to the **President**, you would handle the following tasks:

- Assist in preparing and maintaining QA related reports and tasks
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Operations team
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as needed
- Identify process improvement opportunities

**Experience, Education and Designations**
- College Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; additional qualifications related to food safety are a plus
- 1 year of QA or administrative experience preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Calendar management skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
