**Job Purpose**:
- Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, Loyalty & CRM, the individual is responsible for managing the planning of all owned digital marketing elements, support execution, and ensure that the delivery is timely. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, generate engagement, and support growth of online sales. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, IT, and external agencies to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with Rexall’s goals and objectives. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing website performance to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with Marketing partners to develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and increase website traffic.
- Manage, optimize and update rexall.ca, ensuring that it is accurate, informative, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
- Lead and develop the design of in-house landing pages supporting business priorities, brand pages, and partner pages.
- Collaborate with agency partner to carry out keyword research and optimization to improve website rankings in search engine result pages.
- Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns and landing pages, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Uses existing digital marketing tools to support the timely completion of posting and issuing new content on digital properties.
- Facilitate and manage feedback to customer reviews on Google and other relevant platforms.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
**Knowledge, skills and experience**:
- University or College degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- 2+ years of relevant digital marketing experience; website management considered an asset.
- Knowledge of content management systems and website optimization tools.
- Understanding of setting up and optimizing Google Adword campaigns.
- Experience in SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing channels.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and insights.
- Understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including sharing ideas and information across diverse audiences to secure buy-in.
- Self-motivated, creative thinker with problem-solving abilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Design Programs considered an asset
**Context and Environment**:
- The jobholder must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of confidentiality and attention to detail. Responsible for ensuring the accurate delivery of corporate development activities and understanding corporate objectives and company standards is key to achieving desired results.
**Internal Communications**:
- Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders across a broad range of organizational levels including IT, marketing, finance, operations from the specialist to VP level.
