**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events for the Winnipeg Football Club, including game-day experience events, corporate functions, and weddings.
- Work closely with clients to ensure that their needs are met and that their events are executed flawlessly.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including catering, décor, entertainment, audio-visual requirements, transportation, ticketing, and guest registration.
- Manage budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring that costs are within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and ticketing, to promote events and ensure that all aspects of the event are well-coordinated.
- Ensure that the venue is properly prepared for each event, including proper setup and tear-down of event spaces.
- Manage staffing requirements for events, including hiring and training temporary staff and coordinating duties among the existing event staff.
- Scheduling and payment of hourly staff, including gratuity allocation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a venue management role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify potential problems and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Sound financial management skills, with the ability to create and manage event budgets.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams and creating a positive work environment.
- Exceptional time management, organization and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
