**Event Manager**

Due to the seasonal nature of many weddings and events, flexibility is required, including the ability to work evenings and weekends, often for extended hours.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Act as the main on-site contact for all guest needs
- Review event menu details and information
- Lead the execution and quality assurance of catered events
- Manage all activities related to the event, ensuring all service standards are followed
- Assist the kitchen team to ensure food is served hot and efficiently for various events (buffet style, plated, family style, etc.)
- Lead food service for smaller events without on-site kitchen staff
- Provide leadership and training for our catering servers
- Manage serving staff, ensuring team members are in uniform and delivering exceptional guest service
- Work directly with clients, event coordinators, and/or hosts
- Maintain regular communication with management and the chef
- Problem solve in the moment, addressing questions or concerns that arise during or before service
- Adhere to food and health industry regulations and standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
