**JOB BRIEF**

We are looking for a responsible Interior Finishing Superintendent to administer and organize all types of construction projects, from simple activities to more complex planning and problem solving.

Interior Finishing Superintendent will be responsible for all scopes of work from window install to hand over of final product to our clients. Other responsibilities include working closely with our Site Superintendent and the trades to prepare comprehensive action plans, scheduling and sequencing for the projects.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management, sequencing and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

The Interior Finishing Superintendent should have a solid background with interiors sequencing and how to deliver the final product. Leadership skills and attention to details play a vital role to guide others and make quick decisions to meet the quality and the project schedule.

Ultimately, the Interior Finishing Superintendent will work with the Eagle Crest Construction (ECC) team, the Sub-trades and vendors to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Daily Tasks**

1. Break projects into manageable actions items and set timeframes.

2. Liaise with Sub-trades to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.

3. Manage staffing levels and order materials and equipment to maintain project schedule and productivity.

4. Develop a thorough understanding of plans and specifications, work schedules, delivery targets and procedures related to change orders, claims and costing.

5. Analyze risks and opportunities.

6. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with site staff, sub-trades, consultants, engineers and regional authorities, while maintaining a strong presence and involvement in all site activities.

7. Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.

8. Assist the Project Manager and Construction Manager in developing and maintaining the construction schedule and site management plan, documents and reporting.

9. Provide weekly schedule updates to maintain production within budget.

10. Work with the PM to eliminate blockers.

11. Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.

12. Establish and maintain quality control measures.

13. Identify any scope of work issues and implement measures to proactively address emerging quality issues.

14. Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.

15. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel on site.

16. Before assigning work, recognize hazards and provide guidance to employees and contractors on how to work in a more safe and efficient manner, correcting unsafe acts immediately.

17. Collaborate with Project Manager to manage all required municipal, provincial and consultant inspections.

18. Maintain a site consistent with our professional image, while keeping a clean and organized site and office.

19. Other tasks as deemed necessary.

**Schedule and Tracking**

1. Review schedule in Microsoft Projects and work with the PM to update as required.

2. Maintain daily, weekly and task trackers to provide more detailed workflows.

**Warranties & Project Close-out**

1. Track units, common areas and exterior for completion by way of punch-list and distribute to the sub-trade for completion of deficiency work.

2. Setup and run the walk-through inspection processes for all deficiency review, EC Living reviews and client reviews and fix any deficiencies that are found in a timely manner.

1. Respond to all queries and communication.

2. Maintain calendars with any relevant dates. If needed set, follow ups and send invites to site ECC teams or trades.

3. Forward reports to PM, CM and Ownership as needed.

4. File all documents in one drive.

**Procore Software**

1. Fill out ‘Daily Log’ for project on Procore and log photos of days' work; mandatory update of manpower, deliveries, photos and delays.

2. Update Task List items under ‘Tasks’ on Procore.

4. Log site progress photos under ‘Photos’ on Procore.

**Manage Files**

1. Manage and upkeep all folders and keep the current information organized as needed.

2. Make sure that documents are filed correctly.
