**POSITION TITLE**:
Warehouse Supervisor

**DEPARTMENT**:
Parts Acheson Report to Parts Manager

**SUMMARY**:
Responsible for the Warehouse operations.

**KEY POSITION FUNCTIONS**:
**Leadership**
- Assist in promoting the dealership’s core values, standards for integrity, ethics, and job performance.
- Promote a Team culture that values accuracy, efficiency and safety through proper training, coaching, performance management and appropriate supervision.
- Supervise and assist team in all daily operational requirements to achieve identified goals that support all business operations.
- Monitor productivity and implement improvements as required through leadership, motivational skills and Team building.
- Must be able to succeed, adapt in a high paced environment supporting the Team and Warehouse operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong resolution skills to promote a positive outcome.

**Warehouse Operations**
- Maintain all areas of the Warehouse department are clean, organized, and safe.
- Collaborate with Parts Manager to ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies are available and in good working condition where applicable.
- Responsible for Preventive Maintenance of all Warehouse machinery.
- Maintain current levels of required training and knowledge of process and procedures.
- Assist with the process of inbound and outbound orders to allow efficient progress.
- Ensure inspection of the condition of incoming freight, identify/document any damages with carrier.
- Organize completion of order requests in priority sequence.
- Ensure all discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
- Utilize available tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
- Coordination of assigned new parts returns, monitor as required to assure completion.
- Assist and coordinate returned to vendors as per the vendors return guidelines.
- Cross train where applicable, to always assure adequate back up support available.
- Assist in retail area maintenance.
- Assist customers as required.
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer service.
- Responsible with the scheduling for all Warehouse staff to allow adequate support as required to support operations.
- Actively involved with Parts Manager in the interview process for new employees.
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees.
- Responsible for training of current and new Warehouse employees.
- Assist in maintaining Elite Support requirements and certification.
- Cultivate an Elite - Continuous Improvement culture.
- Assist in other areas of warehouse as required.

**QUALIFICATION &**

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 5-Years experience in a Warehouse environment with heavy duty truck, automotive or construction experience considered an asset.
- Minimum 2-years experience as a Warehouse Team Lead or Supervisor
- Ability to lead, coach, motivate and manage a team.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.
- Physically able to lift 50lbs or assist heavier items on a regular basis.
- Able to be actively engaged all Warehouse operations.
- Able to wear required PPE.
- Forklift certified, counter balance and sit down.
- Team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors daily.
- Able to deal with Customer’s, Co-workers, and vendors professionally.
- Able to prioritize and make adjustments as required throughout the day.
