**Store Supervisor - Ottawa Location**
Chef's Paradise is now part of the Doyon Després family Are you passionate about retail and team management? We're looking for a Store Supervisor to join our team in Ottawa Reporting to the Branch manager, you'll manage both personnel and store operations for our retail section.
**Responsibilities**
**Store Operations**:
- Ensure and maintain optimal customer service levels, including handling complaints.
- Execute product merchandising and marketing in full compliance.
- Manage inventory, merchandise returns, and customer orders.
- Keep constant track of the shipping report.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (category managers, inventory controllers, after-sales agents, etc.) to ensure operational excellence.
- Perform bank deposits and change orders.
- Maintain store and building cleanliness and upkeep.
- Implement health and safety programs.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets.
- Maintain company standards and procedures.
- Monitor operations and keep the director informed of any issues.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
**Personnel Management**:
- Conduct job interviews and select staff.
- Prepare and manage the integration of new employees, ensuring follow-up.
- Determine and participate in staff training.
- Establish work schedules within the allocated hour budget.
- Supervise, encourage, and motivate staff.
- Continuously manage staff performance and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Participate in probationary and annual performance evaluations.
**Integration and Uniformity**:
- Ensure store practices and policies align with company directives.
- Effectively communicate goals to the store team.
- Promote and implement company values and culture within the store.
- Facilitate the integration of new policies or systems introduced by the company.
**Requirements Profile**
- **Education**: Training in retail or restaurant management, or relevant experience.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years in customer service and staff management.
- **Skills**: Leadership, customer-oriented, excellent communication, ability to work under pressure, versatile, detail-oriented, team player, quick learner.
- **Availability**: Evenings and weekends for replacements or occasional remote support.
- **Languages**: Bilingual (English and French).
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of kitchen equipment is a major asset.
