Warehouse Coordinator

**Position Summary**:
The Warehouse Co-ordinator plans and coordinates the warehouse storage, distribution and receiving of products and materials for the company.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Prepare outgoing shipments (pull stock, label, palletize & affix shipping instructions accurately) as per appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Verify all outgoing and incoming shipments in a timely manner
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory and shipments
- Load & unload trucks using a forklift
- Receive incoming deliveries (inspect and verify incoming goods against packing lists, record shortages, receiving temperatures (when required) and reject damaged goods) & route goods to appropriate departments or storage areas in a timely manner
- Check and maintain forklift in good condition daily basis and report to maintenance once any abnormal discovered.
- Maintain, clean & organize the warehouse
- Monitor, control and organize all inventory
- Fill out and submit Purchase order Forms weekly basis
- Conduct a monthly inventory count and complete necessary reports
- Clean outside loading areas, building grounds & parking lots
- Print out forms, logs and labels for production requirement
- Review calibration forms of production meters daily basis
- Review and submit all forms and logs to QA monthly basis
- Assist with Operations projects as required
- Must be approved as an Authorized Cargo Representative in order to load freight for shipping under the Transport Canada Air Security Program.
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s and Forklift licence
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Computer literacy - Microsoft Office
**Skills Required**:
- Group organizational skills
- Sound communication - oral and written
- Detail oriented, accurate and organized, together with excellent follow up skills
- Can make sound decisions
- Able to develop good working relationships with customers and/or suppliers - on the phone and one-to-one, as required
- Be self-motivated and adopt good people skills
- Operate powered mobile equipment, such as forklifts, safely
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Problem solving skills, able to assess a situation and find the logical answer
- Follow detailed instructions and safety regulations
- Can multi-task, handle pressure and meet deadlines calmly and efficiently
- Always ensure paperwork is neat and organized
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Co-ordinator
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
**Standards & Expectations**:
- In depth knowledge and understanding of warehouse responsibilities
- Ownership and responsibility for warehouse inventory
- Follow determined procedures and standards
- Excellent communication with all departments
- Develop strong working relationships with accounting, purchasing and logistics
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Adopt a flexible approach to the work schedule & be available for on call, for both shipping and receiving
- Work safely in compliance with Company policies and Health & Safety standards

**Physical Demands & Working Conditions**:
- Frequently standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, talking, hearing, eye/hand/foot co-ordination,
- Exposed to a wet/noisy/vibrating/hazardous environment
- Required vision - distance and ability to see colour
- Required to frequently up to 22.7 kgs (50 lbs)
