Role Title

Disability Management & Wellbeing Analyst (Contract - 12 months)

Purpose of role

**Job Description**:
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Provide administrative support for wellness and disability day-to-day operations with guidance from the Manager, Disability Management & Wellbeing
- Make disabiity referrals to our third-party disability providers and update HRIS systems with employee status updates as required in a timely manner
- Track and maintain short term sick leave claims, capturing updates from our disability providers
- Support employees with their inquiries (answer questions, navigate complicated scenarios)
- Attend weekly meetings with disability provider for claims updates
- Provide disability updates to business units and HRBPs
- Update monthly wellbeing calendar; liaise with vendors for session links
- Update our internal session registration system with monthly events and session links
- Attend wellbeing sessions; act as a contact for any issues and gather attendence for events
- Provide quarterly population updates to our Employee and Family Assistance Plan (EFAP) provider
- Process invoices for disability and wellbeing vendors, track accordingly
- Monitor wellbeing inbox; answer questions or refer to Manager as required
- Assist with the preparation of wellbeing and disability metrics
- Act as liaison with providers, and/or third party administrators and help to ensure the effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations
- Support administration on special projects

Key Qualifications/Competencies
- 1 to 5 years of experience in the wellness, disability and or group benefits field
- Experience/knowledge of wellness/disability preferred
- Aptitude for working with systems (Workday, other web-based self-service portals, vendor websites & tools, etc.)
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
- Must be competent in handling data files, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic mathematics skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt when assignments change

Specialized knowledge or other training/education requirements:

- University degree or college diploma is strongly preferred
- Membership in a professional Human Resources association is an asset
- Mental Health in the Workplace training or similar is an asset
