**What Impact Will You Have?**
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be a key player in generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. You’ll be an integral part of our sales team, working closely with the outside sales team and utilizing our CRM system to identify and cultivate leads. Your efforts will directly support our nationwide business development initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead Generation**:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospects across Canada to generate new business leads.
- Utilize social selling techniques to engage potential clients on platforms like LinkedIn.
- Qualify leads based on established criteria and schedule appointments for the outside sales team.
**CRM Management**:
- Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate and detailed information on leads, prospects, and client interactions.
- Track and report on key metrics related to lead generation activities and campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align lead generation efforts with marketing strategies.
**Collaboration and Communication**:
- Work closely with the outside sales team to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and support their sales efforts.
- Participate in regular sales meetings to share insights, strategies, and progress updates.
**Market Research**:
- Conduct research on target industries, companies, and key decision-makers to inform lead generation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for business development.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in a business development or lead generation role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other social selling tools is a plus.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience is an asset.
