Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is a newer manufacturing facility in Brantford. We are expanding and require afternoon and night shift Material Handlers to join our team There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing eco-friendly vehicles market. **Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Operate an overhead crane to load coil into a press
- Off loading and transferring parts
- Move freight & stock to production areas either manually or using equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Maintain 5S
- Other duties, as required
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years Forklift experience (dockstocker/stand up type) preferred
- Overhead Crane experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience with 5S & Kaizen systems preferred but not mandatory
- Attention to detail in all areas of work
- Must be able to take direction comfortably, able to multi-task, managing time efficiently to obtain optimum results
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination required
