**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting**:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting for a 9-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Job Description**:
This role involves ongoing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. The position includes preparing regulatory filings, statutory financial statements, audit schedules, and key control account reconciliations.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Responsibilities**:

- Perform month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger lead sheets.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal, regulatory, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain key control account reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Prepare audit schedules, note disclosures, and respond to auditor inquiries.
- Update and maintain litigation and client complaint provision schedules.
- Process Tymetrix receivables, including invoice submissions and deposit journals.
- Liaise with Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Global Payment Operations, and auditors.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from senior management.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Mandatory Skills**:

- 2+ years of financial analyst experience.
- 2+ years of strong accounting foundation with hands-on experience in month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- 2+ years of experience preparing financial statements for regulatory, statutory, or internal reporting.
- 2+ years of experience with Excel and strong PC skills, including PeopleSoft Financials, Broadridge, OBI, SmartView, or similar systems.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Experience with process improvement or efficiency initiatives.
- Exposure to legal entity accounting, litigation provisions, or operational risk reporting.
- Financial institutions experience.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Assignment Length**:
This is a 9-month contract position with the possibility of extension.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Start Date**:
ASAP.

**Financial Analyst - Financial Reporting - Assignment Location**:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite, with Monday and Friday being mandatory in-office days.
