**DUTIES**:
- Planning, development and implementation of new equipment, software and processes
- Monitor and maintain productivity standards and daily operations of the Imaging Informatics portfolio (PACS, VR, Post processing systems) as well as participate in afterhours updates as required
- Work collaboratively with members of various teams internal and external to Niagara Health to support and implement initiatives related to Imaging Informatics (DI, Cardiology, Pathology, ICT, Quality & Risk, OCINET, Modalities, RIS upgrades, HL7 integrations)
- Required to provide on-call multi-site Imaging Informatics support as a member of the Imaging Informatics team.
- Work in accordance with all departmental and organizational policy and procedures.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Registered Medical Radiation Technologist, Sonographer or Diploma/Degree in Information Technology is required
- Completion of an Imaging Informatics Graduate Certificate Program is preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Diagnostic Imaging environment (hospital or other complex organization)
Excellent analytical and interpretation skills along with demonstrated experience in problem solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with information technology and network infrastructure with understanding of related software programs required
- Demonstrated knowledge of PACS systems with an emphasis on Enterprise Imaging and understanding of Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiology workflows (Sectra, Meditech/Cerner preferred)
- Excellent communication, organizational and training skills required
- CAPM or PMP designation an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Nuance voice dictation (Dragon and Powerscribe)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team of professionals in an ever-changing, fast paced customer focused environment
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset
