We have grown from one standalone Gas Bar in downtown Winnipeg to an ever-expanding co-operative with 49 gas bar locations, 23 car washes, six cardlocks, nine food stores, two standalone pharmacies and an oil supply centre. Our fleet of trucks are on the road delivering fuel to farm and commercial accounts in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.

And we just keep growing as we develop fresh, modern ways to deliver premium products with extraordinary customer service.

**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for several positions of Gas Bar Pump Attendants and Cashiers, at our Gas Bar located at **Selkirk Gas Bar, located at 275 Main Street, in Selkirk, MB **. These positions report to the Gas Bar Manager.

Essential responsibilities of the positions include the following:

- Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
- Educate customers and staff on the benefits of membership in Red River Co-op and encourage them to join.
- Ensure the C-store is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.
- Receive fuel deliveries in accordance with established Co-op procedures.
- Run fuel pumps and fill fuel tanks of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel to particular levels.
- Assist customers with propane filling and exchanges.
- Wash windshields and check fluid levels.
- Grease and oil vehicles or particular parts of automobiles.
- Operate a cash register, take payment from customers and provide change.
- Follow all legal requirements regarding the sale of lottery and tobacco products.
- Confirm pump and sign price accuracy and promptly change pricing upon request from Gas Bar Manager.
- Present a neat, clean, well-merchandised department and related work areas (including the C-store, car wash bay, fuelling area, parking lot, and washrooms).
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including cleaning of all equipment and display cases.
- Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Gas Bar Manager.
- Assist in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment.
- Follow safe front-line loss prevention practices, and maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise or fuel from the site.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Applicants must have an open availability and be willing to work as early as 5:15 am and as late as 11:15 pm.
