**The Opportunity**:
Red River Co-op is recruiting for a Bakery Clerk and a Meat Clerk, at our Selkirk Food Store located at **335 Main Street, in Selkirk, Manitoba **. Positions include:
**Bakery Clerk**
- Bake and package baked goods including bread, buns, cookies, etc.
- Maintain sections of merchandise (commercial bread, in-store baked product, bulk bins) as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is followed at all times, and that close-dated product is reported to the Bakery Manager.
- Ensure the Bakery Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed.

**Meat Clerk**
- Maintain sections of merchandise (fresh, smoked, and frozen meat) as assigned in an effective manner. Ensure first-in, first-out rotation is followed at all times, and that close-dated product is reported to the Meat Manager.
- Ensure the Meat Department is properly stocked with merchandise and faced at all times.
- Receive, inspect, and store orders upon delivery to ensure all product is immediately stored in proper temperature-controlled environment.
- Wrap, weigh, label and price cuts of meat for sale on self-serve counter.

All positions involve a high degree of customer contact. Successful applicants must be friendly and polite, and service-oriented.

Applicants will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
