Bartender

We are looking for a Bartender who is friendly, organized, has a good memory and can communicate efficiently and effectively with coworkers and a diverse group of customers. They should be energetic, confident, have a strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages and practice good time management skills. They must be able to work quickly, in fast-paced environments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system.
- Should know basic cashiering procedures like handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.
- Be responsible for billing/credit card/payment and collecting feedback from the guest.
- Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas.
- Restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors and completing bar closing checklist.

**Requirements**:

- Resume and proven working experience in a similar setting
- Knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Smart Choices certificate or willing to obtain

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

**Salary**: From $14.15 per hour
