**The Job:  **
- Communicating with the Service Manager on diagnostic repairs and troublesome cars
- Also ensure effective communication with Service Advisors on any additional work required or delays encountered on work orders
- Monitor the quality of work performed by spot-checking repairs, either in the shop or during road tests; ensuring repairs are done according to recommended procedures and/or OEM specification
- Assist Technicians when difficulties are encountered in performing service repairs
- Review repair orders for completion and accuracy and collaborate with Service Advisor on incomplete orders
- Inspect completed service work and conduct road tests on vehicles brought in for repairs
- Oversee the maintenance of tools, equipment and facilities as well as the safety, clean up and general housekeeping of the shop
- Training future technicians
- Ensure that customer service needs are met and vehicles are repaired correctly.
- Review all comebacks and initiate measures to avoid repeats.

**The Qualifications**:

- 5 years as a Licensed Automotive Service Technician; experience in automotive and diagnostic repair
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Have your own tools & toolbox
- Previous experience working in a Chrysler dealership an asset
- Quality and overall productivity of work produced in shop.
- Effective staff management including, training and motivation.
- Consistently high customer service ratings
- Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Valid Driver's License with a Clean Driver’s Abstract

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- Journeyman (preferred)
