Manager, Product Management

**Description**:

- We are looking for a Manager of Product with strong experience in product management or product development, with a background in retail banking or financial services seen as an asset. You will contribute to the management of the Product P&L, implementing strategies to drive the growth and profitability of the portfolio, as well as ongoing operational management collaborating cross-functionally._
- You will work closely with the Director, Core products, as well as with the Design and Digital teams to advance the product roadmap, collaborating closely cross-functionally with marketing, operations, analytics and go-to-market teams in the development and launch of new products and product enhancements. You will become an expert in RESP’s and offering both financial and non-financial value proposition that will assist in allowing more students to afford post secondary education._

**CHALLENGES TO BE MET**:

- You will support the Profit & Loss (P&L) in driving the development and implementation of approved priorities, new products and product enhancements, ongoing operational management, and product and channel support in collaboration with cross functional teams (Digital, Sales & Customer Service, Compliance Analytics, Product Marketing, etc.)
- You will support the advancement of the product roadmap by:
o Developing business cases for new products, services and opportunities

o Collaborating with the Design and Digital Product teams to develop product requirements and user stories
- You will support the Partnerships function, implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability, collaborating with cross functional teams
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customers, RESP’s, your portfolio, the market and competitive environment (customer, technology, competition, regulatory activities, etc.)
- Analyze portfolio performance metrics and collaborate with the analytics team to develop product & customer insights and recommendations
- An entrepreneurial mindset and are excited about overcoming challenges, navigating ambiguity, and learning from setbacks

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- 4+ years of experience in product management or product development. Prior experience in financial services or tech domains preferred.
- University Degree in Business or equivalent, MBA is an asset
- Strong experience with the Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, are disciplined and comfortable with ambiguity
- Detail oriented, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
