**What you'll be doing**:
Reporting directly to the GM, the Finance Manager produces the metrics required to guide the operation towards profitable outcomes while meeting government reporting standards and tax compliance. You provide productivity and performance measures necessary to inform management and staff of their successes and where to adjust, when necessary, the day-to-day, month over month, and longer term strategies.

In addition to internal financial reports and monitoring, you provide research and create forecasts to provide recommendations for future growth opportunities. You will analyze the data to help uncover valuable insights within the financials.

You are the hands on leader of a small Accounting team and will focus strongly on further developing company systems and processes for the future. This will entail optimizing the accounting function, tools and procedures as well as expanding reporting and measuring tools.

Not only would you have the opportunity to shape the Finance department but as a member of the Leadership Team you collaborate with your peers to build an organization that is sustainable, respectful and profitable.

**What you have to offer**:
To be successful your experience and education allow you to bring these abilities to the table:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA is an asset
- 5-8 years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of data into actionable information
- Proven experience with measuring, financial reporting and data mining tools
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Experience designing and improving business processes
