Halifax, Canada Good Air Ventilation Systems Full time

Good Air is a dealer for Mitsubishi Electric, the top heat pump brand in the industry. For over 15 years, we’ve designed and installed custom heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions for both residential and commercial customers across HRM. Good Air is one of the first Venmar AVS installers in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Good Air is more than just a ventilation company; it’s a way of doing business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchase general and specialized equipment and materials, business services and land or access rights for use or for further processing by their establishment.
- Assess requirements of an establishment and develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
- Invite tenders, consult with suppliers and review quotations.
- Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards.
- Establish logistics of delivery schedules, monitor progress and contact clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
- Negotiate land acquisition or access rights for public or private use, and may conduct field investigations of properties.
- May hire, train or supervise purchasing clerks.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum five years of work experience in purchasing officer role;
- Excellent analytical skills and communication skills;
- Team player with the ability to build good relationships with our customers, partners and cross-functional teams;
- Ability to work in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment;

**Salary**: $16.86-$25.74 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3N 1K7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
